A note about Dyes and needlepoint: We will NOT be responsible for running or fading colors on needlepoint pieces needing blocking. Colorfast or pretreated threads should be used if blocking is required.

Needlepointers should use basketweave method of tent stitch when possible. It will strengthen your piece, and tends to distort the canvas less.

There will be additional blocking charges if your piece must be blocked more than one time. Working on a frame of any kind will help ease tension, and it is important to push-pull your stitches. This will ease your tension considerably if it is very tight.

Sizing will be used only when necessary.

Pillows: We always recommend a zipper in case your pillow needs future cleaning. Our finisher stocks over 40 quality cotton velveteens. We always use a self fabric piping unless you provide us with braid, fringe, or decorative trim with an edge for seam allowance. Price includes one blocking (for needlepoint). You are welcome to supply your own fabric and trims. Please do not send rubber-backed drapery fabric.

Christmas Ornaments: We have several ornament finishers who vary in price, reflecting a range of quality to the very finest. Tassels, beads, and embellishments are available. Just let us know what your preferences are. Difficult shapes will have an extra fee. Backing and cording can be provided by the customer if desired, otherwise provided by the finisher.

Wood products: boxes, trays, etc: Needlework can be mounted inside many items with glass, mats, etc. including boxes, clocks, trays, luggage racks, game boards, mirrors, shaker boxes, footstools, firescreens, and more. In most cases, the customer must provide these items. Contact us for more information about specifics and prices.

We can also finish scissor fobs, tie-on chair cover, piano bench covers, directors chairs, tennis racket covers, golf club covers, tree skirts, rugs, key chains, bean bags, and probably anything else that can be imagined! Contact us for details and pricing.
